Each year the Academy of Music sponsors three trips to Milwaukee to attend the Florentine Opera season productions. Academy voice teacher Carol Jegen will preview the three operas and host the outings. Special pricing includes opera tickets, preview classes and round-trip coach bus transportation to the Sunday matinee performances at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in Milwaukee. Enrollment is limited based on bus occupancy and seating availability.
The 2013-14 productions will include Verdi’s La Traviata on November 10, Handel’s Julius Caesar on March 30, and the season will conclude with Puccini’s La Boheme on May 11.
