Spring Seminar:  Baroque to Classical Music

How did music at the end of the Baroque era lead to the much clearer music of the Classical period? What are the composers and musical characteristics of each style period? We'll answer these questions as we enjoy music by the masters of both style periods, including Bach, Handel, Haydn and Mozart. This will be followed by a course in the fall on Classical to Romantic music.
