If you've ever tried writing your own song, you know how hard it can be to pick that next word or right chord. We'll spend the afternoon listening to and dissecting some of our favorite songs before playing some of our original songs for each other. We'll pick out some of our favorite techniques from songs we love and see how we can apply them to the ones we write.
Come prepared to share and discuss a song you've written (or are working on) or just to listen with open ears and contribute to the discussion.
This workshop is geared towards high school students and adults.
