Chemistry of Color
|
|
After learning about how to construct the desired shade from filtered
lights of the primary colors, GEMS students were given the opportunity
to put their knowledge into play. They experimented with the primary
colors of filtered lights which, instead of being the typical blue,
yellow, and red, were cyan, magenta, and yellow. Then, they were
given carte blanche, and off they went! |
|
There
was a plethora of patterns for tie-dying from which to choose. Upon
selecting the preferred design, the girls began to dye their shirts.
When the shirts were sodden with color, they were placed into plastic
bags, ready to be taken home! |
