Spring may actually be arriving in Appleton -- students are tossing frisbees, reading and hanging out on Main Hall Green, and finding ways to spend time together outside. After a very long winter the sunshine and warmth are much appreciated and enjoyed by all of us on campus!
Term III is the culmination of students' academic work, and we celebrate their accomplishments with Honors dinner and convocation, the Harrison Symposium, and the submission of honors projects. Student clubs and organizations plan picnics, field trips, outdoor concerts, and fundraising events. All in all, the campus is alive with activity and the exitement spring brings.
I hope you are able to share in the Springtime fun by talking to (or e-mailing or texting) your student and hearing first-hand accounts of how Term III is unfolding.
Happy Spring!
Fondly,
Nancy Truesdell
Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students
