The 2006 recipients of the Jostens Trophy, which recognizes the most outstanding male and female basketball players in NCAA Division III, are Chris Braier of Lawrence University and Megan Silva of Randolph-Macon College. Winners of the Jostens Trophy are chosen by a national selection committee that consists of college coaches, former athletes, college administrators and selected members of the media. The members of the national selection committee cast their votes based on three criteria: basketball ability, academic prowess, and community service.
This year's recipients were honored at an awards ceremony on March 16 in Salem, Virginia, just prior to the Division III Final Four.
