Meet D'Nalssa, one of 71 decorated fiberglass lions and lion cubs distributed
throughout the Appleton area as part of “Lions of the Valley,” a
public art project related to the Wisconsin premiere of Disney’s The
Lion King at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
D’Nalssa, who is stationed on College Avenue outside Lawrence Memorial Chapel, was created by (left to right) D.J. Brengle ’10, Jessie Justman ’08, Gabrielle Prouty ’07, Hillary Krueger ’08, and (not pictured) David Klaus ’09 and Chelsea Wagner ’07.
