A line-up of exceptional international performers — some rising stars, others familiar faces — bring their musical virtuosity to the stage for the eight-concert 2009-10 Lawrence Artist and Jazz Series.
The Grammy-nominated quintet Imani Winds opens the 101st Artist Series in October. The annual Jazz Celebration Weekend kicks off the Jazz Series in November with singer Steve March Tormé. Bobby McFerrin, a 10-time Grammy winner, brings his innovative vocal techniques to campus in February.
