APPLETON POLICE INVESTIGATING SUSPECTED DRUG LAB ON LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS
Appleton Police are investigating a possible drug lab that was discovered on the Lawrence University campus.
Police were notified on December 21, 2007 that staff from Lawrence University had discovered a possible drug lab while they were conducting a security check in a dormitory.
A search warrant was obtained. Items seized during the search were sent to the State Crime Lab for analysis.
The Lake Winnebago MEG Unit, DNE, the DEA, and the Appleton Fire Department assisted the Appleton Police Department, during this investigation.
No arrests have been made. Police are awaiting test results from the State Crime Lab.
The investigation into this incident is on going.
