Under the direction of David E. Becker, one of the most exciting student orchestras in the nation takes center stage performing works by Shostakovich and Saint-Saëns and featuring acclaimed violinist Wen-Lei Gu.

Academy Award-winning Playwright/Director Eric Simonson ’82, a Steppenwolf ensemble member, and Steppenwolf Executive Director David Hawkanson ’69, join us for a preview reception and performance of Eric’s latest creation, Carter’s Way, a jazz-filled tale of love and an artist’s integrity, featuring original music by Darrell Leonard.

The Lawrence University Concert Choir (Richard Bjella, director) and Cantala women’s choir (Phillip A. Swan, director) perform compositions from American composers including the world premiere of Andrew Rindfleisch’s Careless Carol.
