Remember, to get started selecting a database: use Library Research on the Library's Web site. Then choose Electronic Resources.

The Library's databases are organized alphabetically and by broad subject categories. For example, choose Social Sciences to find databases for Economics, Anthropology, Psychology, Government and Education.

And you know how to search Academic Search Elite, a general index. What about other article indexes? Won't they look different?

Yes. But once you've learned the basics, it will be like driving a car you've borrowed from a friend. You know that there's a switch to turn on the lights or the radio--you just need to locate the controls. Even though they may look different, article indexes have similar features. Check for help screens or ask a librarian.
