Ways to Search in LUCIA

There are several options for searching LUCIA:

Type of Search What It Does
Basic Search Browse or search for items by author, title, subject, keywords, or call number.
Guided Search Search by keywords in specific fields. Limit by language, material type, or date
Expert Search Advanced command language searching
Course Reserves To find course materials placed on reserve by an instructor.

You should also be aware of other features provided on the catalog screen, particularly My Library Account on the top bar that let you see a list of library materials you have checked out, renew selected items, and place Interlibrary Loan requests, and the pull-down Search . . . feature at the top that lets you limit your searches to scores, music recordings, videos, reference materials, and journal titles.
