
Many of the online databases the library subscribes to have persistent or stable links to articles that can be incorporated into Moodle or other course websites. The links are called by a variety of names, including persistent links, stable URLs, and bookmarks. Once located, links can be copied into Moodle or onto a webpage. (If you are adding a link to Moodle, be sure to have the article Open in a New Window.)
JSTOR
Full text articles in JSTOR have a Stable URL listed under the article title on the intitial results screen. It will look like this:

To locate the Persistent Link in an EbscoHost database, you must click on the title of the article to get the citation information and then copy the link listed next to Persistent Link to this record.

Click on the article title, then click Bookmark this document. The URL will show up in a pop-up box.

Click on the name of the person you are interested in. The link is not named, but is listed at the bottom of the page in the citation area.
