The Picturing Peace exhibition consists of photographs by children from Ligoniel Primary School and St. Vincent de Paul Primary School in Belfast. The exhibition will also include work by children from Lowell Elementary and Turtle Rock Elementary schools in California.
The Picturing Peace project has been developed by ArtsBridge America and the Picturing Peace team working with support from the Citizen Peacebuilding Program, University of California, Irvine, University of Ulster, Lawrence University, and Seeds of Hope.
The exhibition in Belfast was on display from Apri 12-17, 2005, at the Belfast town hall. The Lord Mayor of Belfast hosted a civic reception in honour of the opening of the Picturing Peace exhibition on April 11, 2005.
