Note: In the Mudd Library some call numbers as displayed in
LUCIA are preceded by a [q.]. Books having
this designation are larger than normal and are shelved after the normal-sized
books. In music, ML's and MT's having [q.] are shelved immediately after
the regular ML's and MT's. This applies to books in the regular stacks only
(i.e. for music, books on the third floor). It does not apply to reference
books on the first floor or to scores, which are shelved together regardless of
size. Very large scores, however, have the designation [qq.] and are
shelved separately in the Media Center.
