Seeley Greenleaf Mudd (1895-1968) contributed more than $10 million to private colleges and universities. By his will, Mudd created the Seeley G. Mudd Fund to continue the work: "that educational excellence be supported in the form of grants for the contruction of buildings for teaching, learning, and research"

How do I get to the Lawrence Library?
The library is on the southwest corner of College Ave. and Lawe St. The mailing address is 113 S. Lawe. For more details see Find Us.

How do I get to the Career Center?
You can't get there through the library. Go out the library's front doors, take a left and then another left at the corner. The entrance to the Career Center is on the southeast corner of the building.

Can I use my laptop in the library?

How do I get to Appleton Public Library?
APL is at 225 N. Oneida St., a block north of the Avenue Mall.

There is one near the photocopier on the main floor.

How do I check out books if I'm not a student here?
Local people can usually get a Courtesy Card from their public/school/college library. You'll need a new Courtesy Card each time you want to check out or renew an item.

How long do books stay on the New Book Shelf?
Approximately 2 weeks. LUCIA does not indicate that new books are in a location separate from older books.

How can I access materials in the archives?
Check with a reference librarian.
