Library Rooms
Private rooms are available in the Mudd Library for Lawrence University students, faculty and staff to use for academic or administrative functions, and for individual and group study.
The library also offers nine individual study rooms (six on fourth floor and 3 on second floor) that are assigned to students on a term-by-term basis. Preference is given to seniors working on honors projects and then to students whose research depends heavily on library materials. If you are interested in applying for an office, fill out this online form or send an email request to the library director.

Lockers
Key-operated lockers are provided for short term storage of personal and checked-out library materials for students who wish to secure their belongings while studying in the library.  Keys for the lockers which are located on the south end of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors may be checked out for 28-day circulation periods from the circulation desk using the barcode on the student ID card.  Lockers are inspected periodically, and library materials which are not properly checked out are removed and returned to the stacks.  Please, inquire at the Circulation Desk.

Other Offices in the Library
The library building houses three other Lawrence departments, Instructional Technology, the Career Center, and Information Technology Services.  In addtion, the Mudd Gallery, a project of the Art Department, is located on the third floor.
