Proactive measures
Responding to plagiarism
- Identify web plagiarism using Google and Plagiarism Finder
- Identify plagiarism from subscription databases including these examples:
- EBSCOhost: contains broad and specialized coverage of academic and general periodicals. Includes full-text for over 2,000 titles. Most articles will date from the early 1990's to the very near present.
- InfoTrac OneFile: also has both academic and popular titles, and includes full text for over 5,500 titles. As with EBSCOhost, most articles date from the early 1990's to near present.
- Tips
- Remember, not all plagiarized material is taken from the web, even today.
