Contains the full text of hundreds of reference works covering a wide range of subjects. Includes images, sound files, maps and more.

Literature Criticism Online
Provides full text access to two important titles, Contemporary Literary Criticism and Nineteenth-Century Literary Criticism. The Browse Authors tab gives you the best way into the database.

Literature Resource Center
Select the Person Search option from the bar above the search options, or make use of the Advanced search features beyond simple keywords. Provides personal data, career highlights, lists of writings, and works in progress on many authors. Provides profiles of literary artists, newspaper and television reporters, editors, columnists, screenwriters, and more. Includes material from the Dictionary of Literary Biography and Twentieth-Century Literary Criticism series and many other publications. Be sure to click on the Logout link when you're done.

The International Dictionary of Films and Filmmakers.
A five volume set providing information on films, directors, actors, writers, and production artists.
Ref. PN1997.8 .I58 1984

Magill's Survey of Cinema (Series I and Series II) and Magill's Cinema Annual.
The two Magill's survey series include some foreign movies even though the subtitle indicates otherwise. The cinema annuals provide information on films released in more recent years up to 2008.
