Cambridge Scientific Abstracts' Discovery Guides
Provides "information on current issues with an overview of the subject, key citations with abstracts, and links to web sites." Covers the arts and humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, and technology. A complete list of all guides is available.

Congressional Publications from Lexis-Nexis
Contains legislative histories, Congressional publications, the Congressional Record, testimony transcripts, bills, US Code, and the Code of Federal Regulations. Also includes information on committees and committee members, links to hot topics, help links, committee markups and votes, and more.

Congressional Universe's Political News/Hot Topics
From Lexis-Nexis. Editors of the Congressional Information Service select bills and topics of current interest, and provide major news sources and documents relevant to the selected bills and topics.

Public Agenda Issue Guides
Public Agenda is a nonpartisan opinion research organization. Their Research Studies are worth a look too.
