The library's maps, and many newer atlases, are housed in the Map Collection, located on the second floor. The items in this collection do not circulate, but you are welcome to use them in the map area. There you will also find instructions for locating maps.
New Books
New library books are shelved near the circulation desk for browsing for a short time after they have been processed.
Library patrons can subscribe to a variety of RSS feeds to be notified of new library materials in different subject areas.
Government Documents
The Mudd Library's government documents collection contains aproximately 320,000 federal and state of Wisconsin documents. We collect these documents as part of the Federal Depository Library Program and as a Selective Depository Library for State of Wisconsin documents.
Graphic Novels & Comic Books
Contained within our main collection, our graphic novels and comic books range from popular serials and fiction to memoirs and historical non-fiction.
Maps & Atlases
Newspapers
The library subscribes to a number of online databases with newspaper content. We also have a number of local and international print newspapers, located near the circulation desk.
Popular Magazines
The library subscribes to a variety of popular magazines. They can be found on the first floor, in front of the circualtion desk, as well as on level A.
Spoken Word Recordings
Our media collection contains a wide variety of spoken word recordings, including audiobooks and theatre performances.
Video Games
The library has a collection of Wii and Xbox 360 video games. We also have a Wii that can be checked out to students, faculty, and staff for campus programming or personal use.
