Alexander Gymnasium was remodeled in 1985. It is currently the home of 21 of Lawrence's 23 varsity sports. Facilities at the gymnasium include two regulation size basketball courts with hardwood floors, two volleyball courts, two regulation squash courts, three regulation racquetball/handball courts, a well-equipped wrestling room, a weight room, two batting cages, and four locker rooms.
