Media Center Student Assistant
Hours: 5 hours/week
Interviews will be conducted and an applicant will be selected in May/June. Position will be available at the start of Fall term (week of September 14th, 2015).

Job description: The Media Lab Student Assistant works with a variety of equipment and programs in the library’s media lab and media center. The student will be responsible for tasks including converting analog materials to digital, creating digital copies, upkeep and inventory of media center equipment, managing a cart of iPads, assisting students with operating equipment, and other duties.
Qualifications: A qualified applicant will be familiar Mac OS and iOS as well as audio and video editing applications, such as iMovie and FinalCut Pro. A basic understanding of the way audio and video cables connect to other devices and ability to troubleshoot audio/video equipment is highly recommended. Ability to work independently and reliably, and an attention to detail are required.
