Suggested Configuration and Internet speeds for Online Instruction:

If remotely connecting to Lawrence sites for classes, students should have a computer with a webcam and microphone, with a currently supported operating system (Windows 10 or Mac OS 12 or newer), and be able to access the websites listed below, preferably with sufficient bandwidth to access the internet with at least 6 Mbps (10 Mbps or more recommended).  It is also important to verify that your Internet connection allows access to US-based servers – not all service providers allow this ability at usable speeds.  To officially test this and check your internet speed, you will want to search 'free internet speed test', and the browser should have a recommended test towards the top of the page.  If it does not work properly, please check with your Internet Service Provider.
