Meditation Room Details and Usage

A meditation room at Lawrence University Center for Spiritual and Religious LifeThe Meditation Room is a 'shoe free' area of the Center, and can hold a small intimate discussion or a small group of meditating persons.  With natural light and adjustable blinds, the space sits on the first floor at the front of the Center. 

Jumma prayers, Buddhist meditation, and small group prayers are found in this space.  The high ceilings provide additional space which enhances the user's ability to find centered and mindful observance.  Here you will find zafu pillows, tatami mats, a CD player, incense, and meditative readings to assist in your practice. 

 

This room can be reserved through the Lawrence University reservation system.
