Course requirements

Requirements for this course are as follows:

• regular attendance and participation
• three papers (3-5 pages long)
• complete and thorough revisions of those papers
• occasional in-class writings

In addition, you’ll be asked to participate in three writing workshops and prepare a self-assessment of your progress as a writer.

Grading scale

Your final grade for the course will be figured on the following scale:

• 10% for each paper (totals 30% of final grade)
• 15% for each revision (totals 45% of final grade)
• 15% for class participation
• 10% for in-class writings and your contributions to writing workshops
