Learn to play music in a band
or orchestra as an adult--even if you have no musical experience! The New Horizons band and orchestra programs
are for adult beginners and people who may have played an instrument in school
but put it aside for many years.
Information
The band meets weekly for a two-hour rehearsal each
Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with conductor Jon Meyer (contact
- J.C.Meyer@lawrence.edu) at Trinity Lutheran Church, Appleton. Performances will include
concerts with other Academy ensembles as well as playing for community events
in venues including formal concerts, parades, parks, and retirement homes. Call
