Students
are responsible for reading and viewing materials listed on the calendar. Attendance and active participation in class are expected and will
be considered in grading. There will be periodic quizzes, as well as two
formal exams—a midterm and final. In addition, a short term paper is
required (for which see the instructions on a separate sheet). Due dates for
these assignments, which must be completed to pass, are shown on the appended
class schedule.
No extensions will
be granted save for medical or other emergencies, and late work will be marked
down.
