The first midterm exam will cover the basics of HTML and CSS. The exam will consist of a series of short-answer questions in which I will ask you write some short snippets of HTML or CSS code. I may also ask questions in which I ask you what a particular bit of CSS code does.
The midterm exam will be a 70 minute exam that we will do in class on Thursday, April 20.
For the HTML portion of the exam I will expect you to be familiar with the following HTML elements:
For the CSS portion of the exam I will expect you to be familiar with the basic structure of CSS rules. I will also expect you to be familiar with the short list of important CSS properties that appear in the tables in this page on the course web site.
