Hello,

Welcome to my electronic portfolio! I am a 2004 graduate of Lawrence University. I have a Bachelors of Music degree in Music Education and Saxophone Performance.

I have been involved with instrumental music since 6th grade and decided in 7th grade that I wanted to be good at music. My enthusiasm for band in Jr. High catapulted me to Lawrence University to get my degree in music. I am experienced in both teaching and performing with small and large instrumental groups.

I have conducted works with high school and college bands by Curnow, Gould, Holsinger, Golemo, Smith, Starer, Swearingen, and Ticheli. In addition, the middle school has also given me many conducting opportunities.

I have a wide variety of interests and like to be active and outdoors when I have the time. Riding bike, playing basketball, tennis, and taking walks are among my favorite things to do. Movies are one of my passions and I am always looking to see the next best film.
