I am a fifth year student in the music education program searching for employment in a high school music setting. I have chamber, jazz, and large ensemble experience. My accomplishments include performances with the Lawrence University Saxophone Quartet in the Coleman Chamber Music Festival, Fischoff Chamber Music Festival, and participation in the Faenza Estate Musica saxophone workshop in Faenza, Italy. I am currently finishing my undergraduate coursework and intend to graduate in March. My interests include travel and Italian culture.
During my student teaching, I had the good fortune of traveling with the Pulaski Red Raider Marching Band to New York City for their performance in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Please click here to view images and itinerary from the trip.
The Lawrence University Saxophone Quartet was one of two groups from Lawrence to attend the above chamber music festivals in the past three years. A press release dated March, 2003 highlights the prestige of the Coleman and Fischoff Competitions. To hear an audio clip of this group, please click here. The LU Saxophone Quartet also traveled to Faenza, a small city in Italy, to perform at the Faenza Festivale Internazionale del Sassofono. Over a two week period, I had the opportunity to rehearse with saxophonists from Italy, England, the United States, and many other countries.
