In this small piece, one sees clearly the influence of Paul Klee in the use of abstract floating elements. Reichel, however, is more abstract than Klee, who always remained connected to some sense of the organic. In this regard, Reichel seems to be incorporating elements of Kandinsky’s ideas into his work as well.
