Series: Keisei Senryu Awase (Combination of Courtesans and Senryu Verses [satirical poems]. The illustrated book of senryu verses behind the courtesan reads: "Showaruzaki to kamuro soba kara saihajike" (Bright and witty Kamuro (girl attendant) seated beside me is being aware of his lustful sake drinker!)

Series: Zensaei Azuma Fukei. (The Height of Prosperity: The Sights of the East). The coutesan Sugatano is seated and holds a shakuhachi, bamboo flute. She is juxtaposed with a framed picture showing Susaki by the seashore.
