Service and Volunteer Opportunities

First thing's first...Volunteer Registration Form

In the interest of providing Lawrence students with the best volunteer experiences possible, the VCSC seeks to aid each student in finding service projects that are right for him/her. In particular, we communicate regularly with outside organizations to determine their needs for volunteers, as well as, the suitability of our volunteers for the organization. As a result, the VCSC can help facilitate student involvement in both ongoing and one-time volunteer opportunities.

STUDENTS: If you have not already filled out (or updated) your Volunteer Registration Form, please do so. We will send you a weekly email with only those upcoming volunteer opportunities that you are personally interested in so you can chose to participate in the ares you enjoy.

One-time Opportunties
Here you will find information regarding one-time volunteer events such as charitable walks, Habitat for Humanity builds, or special events planned and programed by the VCSC and other campus organizations. Most of these events will require about 3-4 hours of service, but are usually a one day committment. CHECK BACK REGULARLY!

Ongoing Opportunities
Here you will find a list of organizations that the VCSC is in contact with on a regular basis. Most of these organizations would be interested in a regular volunteer who is willing to help out for 1-2 hours.
