Lawrence Habitat for Humanity traveled by coach bus to the Big Apple during spring break for a service trip sponsored by Habitat for Humanity of Westchester, New York. Thirty students spent five days panting a housing project in Peekskill, NY and cleaning up lots and neighborhoods of Yonkers, NY in preparation for a home groundbreaking. |

Congratulations to CADY (Confidence and Determination for Youth) for their volunteer efforts in providing educational opportunities for underserved youth in the Appleton community. CADY just hosted their third annual Math and Science Day where over 100 k-sixth grade students learned about psychology, anthropology, math, nutrition, and chemistry. Congratulations Co-op! Their recent partnership with Pioneer Village through the VCSC's Adopt-an-Agency Program is commended for their efforts volunteering in the Appleton Community. |
