Built in 1963 and named in honor of Albert Augustus Trever, professor of history at Lawrence from 1905-1940, Trever Hall is a co-ed facility, home to as many as 174 Lawrence students.
Trever is known for its relaxed environment and close-knit community. On any night, students gather in front of the fireplace in the main lounge for study sessions, or just to 'hang out'. An annual tradition for Trever includes the "Trever Triple Crown&," a lively competition that combines, Frisbee Golf, Bowling and Mini-Golf. Trever is also home to the "Trever Sports Fans," a group of dedicated residents that pride themselves on supporting and cheering on their fellow intercollegiate athletes.
Because of the many programs held in Trever, its diverse group of students, its location, and the amount of time students spend with one another, Treverites create unique bonds with their fellow residents that last throughout their Lawrence experience.
