Letter to Fellow Lawrentians

This website contains the timetable for room selection as well as an explanation of the various aspects of choosing your housing for next year. The housing selection process is governed by LUCC and administered by the Housing Coordinator. Upper-class students select housing in the spring for the upcoming year using a seniority lottery based selection process.

Lottery numbers are randomly computer-generated by class. All students who are continuing students in the fall receive lottery numbers.

In order to select housing for next year, you must take the following steps:

• Step one: Advance register on-line for your fall 2008 classes.
  
• Step two: Be certain your student account is current and paid up-to-date.
  
• Step three: Pick up and sign your Housing Contract (lottery numbers will be printed on your Housing Contract) after you complete advance web registration. Contracts will be available Raymond House 2nd floor (from 8 am - 11:30 am and 1:30 pm - 5 pm) until May 13th.
  
• Step four: Bring your signed Housing Contract with you on the specific date of Housing Selection. Please note: If you are selecting a room for you and your roommate, please be sure to bring his/her signed Housing Contract.
  
  When is selection and where do I go?

Note: If you are unavailable to select your own housing, you may designate a proxy. You will need to complete a 2008-2009 Proxy Form (available at the Housing Office, Raymond House 2nd floor) or online.
