The Housing Selection Process

First you must take these steps:

The housing timeline has several dates and deadlines for you to be aware of. If you have questions, you should attend the information sessions. Once you decide which housing option you are interested in, you should attend the selection night. The timeline will tell you the dates and times to show up to the night you choose.

For example, if you are interested in obtaining a single room you should attend single room selection. Times to show up to selection according to your lottery number will be sent to your campus mailbox or can be viewed by clicking here. When you get to selection, you will enter during your allotted time period. Room charts are available in the hallway to see which rooms have already been taken. When you are let into selection you will line up at the residence hall/house of your choice according to your lottery number and pick the room of your choice.

Please have back up plans if your first housing option does not work out for you.

What is "Meet Your Future Roommate"?

Students who are looking for a roommate and students going off-campus can gather at the Meet Your Future Roommate Activity. There will be activities to help people who are looking for roommates for the following year. This event will be run by members of the Residence Life staff.
