The Associate Dean is responsible for the educational and social community
development that is fostered outside of the classroom setting. In addition,
Amy is responsible for the overall supervision of the residence life, campus
activities and housing staff.

The Housing Coordinator is responsible for the initial assignment of incoming students into their residence hall rooms. Throughout the year, all room changes, requests, and problems are initiated with the hall director who will work closely with the housing coordinator.
Residence Hall Directors
Each residence hall has a professional residence hall director, with a special interest and training in residence education. The Residence Hall Director oversees the general day-to-day operations of the hall, supervises the Residence Life Advisors (RLAs) and Desk Clerks, works closely with Hall Council to plan programs and activities for the hall, and is available for help with personal problems that may arise throughout the year. The Residence Hall Director lives in the apartment on the main floor of the each of the halls in order to be accessible and available. Residence Hall Directors also serve the university in another capacity outside their halls, working in collateral assignments in a number of student-focused departments.

Residence Life Advisors
Each residence hall has a staff of upperclassmen students who serve as Residence Life Advisors. These students plan activities for their floor and hall, and serve as resources for their residents.
