LaDonna Hayden is excited for her third year at Lawrence University as the Hiett Residence Hall Director (RHD) and the Campus Activities Programming Coordinator.
Originally from Indiana, LaDonna spent much of her life in the Mid-West. She received her Bachelors Degree in Romance Languages with minors in Biology & European Studies from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN.
This past summer, LaDonna got married to her wonderful husband. One of their great loves is traveling. Between the two of them, they have traveled to a good portion of the United States and are always looking for more uncharted territory.
A couple of years ago LaDonna had the opportunity to travel to several cities in Senegal, Africa! Other places she has visited include: Ireland, England, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Mexico, and Canada. Since traveling all the time tends to be quite expensive, some other things she enjoys include: cooking, dancing, hiking, canoeing, bowling, walking, running, meeting new people, playing the Wii, watching movies and relaxing!
When you need her, just let her know. LaDonna is best at responding to emails, but feel free to call her or you can usually find her either in her Ormsby RHD office/apartment, her other office at the Memorial Union, or out and about around campus. And always, when you see her around campus (she is the short brunette one), be sure to say “Hi!,” she promises, she does not bite hard!
