Amy Uecke is the Associate Dean of Students for Residence Life, Lawrence's chief housing officer. Amy joined the Division of Student Affairs in 1997 and has over 13 years of experience in higher education and student services at a number of institutions. She holds a master's degree in guidance and counseling from Carthage College and calls Northern Michigan University her alma mater. Amy is originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Amy loves to spend free time boating, gardening, traveling or playing with her dog cosmo! Before Lawrence she worked in Student Affairs (Residence Life/Housing, Campus Activities/Greek Life, Events Programming) at Carthage College, University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and Northern Michigan University. Amy likes to travel to warm locations (Mexico) and also enjoys the outdoors-hiking, biking, boating, gardening, and horseback riding. She loves Wrigley Field and the Cubs and try to get to as many games as she can, including Spring Training!
Amy works closely with the Residence Hall Directors, the Housing Coordinator, the RLA Staff, and others in the university community to support the mission of the department.
