Ormsby Hall

Welcome to Ormsby Hall

Ormsby Hall, built in 1889, is the oldest residence hall on campus and houses 120 students. Although Ormsby primarily houses women, it has one designated male floor.

Ormsby Hall is known for its aesthetically pleasing exterior and stately interior. Students admire the characteristic high ceilings and hardwood floors in the rooms of Ormsby.

Ormsby hall residents enjoy annual fall apple picking trips which in turn leads back to the hall kitchen for the apple pie bake off. In addition, Ormsby's close knit community enjoys monthly birthday celebrations and an annual trip to Bjorklunden.
