Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to take advantage of the many comprehensive educational and cultural programs and services of the Office of Multicultural Affairs, which include but are not limited:
Leadership Programming
A number of leadership programs are offered to student groups to equip them with the practical and interpersonal skills needed to run a meeting, deal with conflict, and plan campus events.
Campus Training and Resources
The office provides the campus community with positive opportunities to explore the impact of culture and identity through diversity training. In addition, it serves as a resource for requests on multicultural scholarships, internships, and alumni of color.
Coalition Programming
Throughout the academic year, the office collaborates on programs and activities with a variety of community committees and organizations to introduce students, faculty and staff to boarder cultural and identity concerns. These organizations include: Harmony Café, Towards Community: Unity Through Diversity, Appleton African American Advisory Committee, GLBT Youth Partnership, P-Flag, and more.
