
Below are links to the official Judicial Board letters from 1999 through term 2 of the 2003-2004 academic year.
From 1999 through the 2002-2003 academic year the Judicial Board was convened fro 24 cases involving 38 Lawrentians. The most common alleged policy violation was LUCC IV. D. Disruptive behavior, specifically LUCC IV. D. 2.03 and 3.02
LUCC IV. D. 2.03 Members of the Lawrence community will not engage in intimidation and/or harassment of another person through physical, mental, or emotional means.
LUCC IV. D. 3.02 Members of the Lawrence community will not engage in vandalism.
The second most common alleged policy violation was III. A. Alcoholic Beverages, specifically III. A. 1.00
III. A. 1.00 Possession, use, and distribution of alcoholic beverages to persons of legal age are permitted on the campus only by persons of legal age.
Of the 38 Lawrentians involved with these alleged policy violations five of them were found not in violation of Lawrence policy, and nine people either resolved their differences outside of Judicial Board or withdrew their complaint. The remaining 24 students were found in violation of Lawrence policy and were assigned sanctions by the Judicial Board.
Sanctions for those cases were varied and ranged from official warnings, letters of apology, alcohol assessments, community service, extracurricular and disciplinary probation.
