The philosophy of the Judicial Board
The goal of the University's disciplinary system is to encourage and assist the students in assuming the responsibility for their own behaviors and discipline. The purpose of the Judicial Board is to educate rather than punish, to be helpful rather than vindictive, and to stimulate students to think about their actions as they relate to those of the other members of the university community.
