International Student Services sponsors trips to grocery stores and Fox River Mall. This service is provided for our international community whose diverse backgrounds may not be entirely met by campus food services or other downtown shopping venues. International Students also typically have less access to cars then do American students.
The shopping run dates for the Fall 2009 term are:
- Every Sunday from September 20th to November 15th
- Every Monday to Thursday from September 21st to November 19th
The Sunday shopping runs will leave from the International House from 1p.m. to 5p.m., and the Weekday shopping runs will leave from Plantz hall parking lot from 6p.m. to 9p.m. The driver will take people who have signed up on the sign-up sheet on a first-come first-served basis.
