World Culture Celebrated in 36th Annual Lawrence
International Cabaret
More than 100 Lawrence University students from around the globe will
be performing during the 36th annual Lawrence International Cabaret, a
celebration of world culture.
Titled "A Light to the World," this year's Cabaret will be staged in
Memorial Chapel: Sunday, April 15, at 3 p.m. A buffet dinner featuring
international dishes will be served in the Warch Campus Center
following the performance.
Tickets are sold at the Warch Campus Center Information Desk beginning
on April 4th.

Cabaret features 18 acts, including a fashion show
highlighting the colorful dress of students’ native countries and
traditional music and dance performances from Afghanistan, Australia,
Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia,
Iraq, Jamaica, Japan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Sri Lanka, and
Sudan.
