
Lawrence International’s Annual Cabaret takes place in spring every year in Stansbury Theatre. Cabaret is an occasion to celebrate life through music, dance and cuisine from around the world. This year’s theme is “The Festival of Life.”
The 2006 Cabaret was one of the biggest Cabarets with over 75 performers and 16 performances from every continent. Popular dances such as the Sub-Continental dance, the belly dance from the Middle East and the African dances are back and dances such as the Cossack dance from Russia and the cha-cha will be making their Cabaret debut.
A dinner at Lucinda’s follows the performance. With a menu that presents a variety of delicious dishes from the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Africa, this is an excellent opportunity to taste delicacies from around the world.
