Lawrence International is set to host its 33rd Annual Cabaret, “A Window to the World.” This year, Cabaret will be in the Memorial Chapel, on Sunday, the April 19th at 3 p.m. Cabaret is an occasion to celebrate life through music, song, dance, and cuisine from around the world.
The 2009 Cabaret is set to be one of the biggest Cabarets with over 80 performers and 18 performances from every continent. Popular dances from the Sub-Continent, from Japan, and from Latin American are back and performances including a traditional song from Sudan, a medley of world music, and a dance from Ukraine will be making their Cabaret debut.
A dinner featuring delicious dishes from around the world will follow the performance. The dinner will be held at Lucinda’s. This is an excellent opportunity to taste delicacies from several parts of the world.
Tickets will go on sale March 31st at the Lawrence University box office.
