- Examination and treatment for illness and minor injury
- Laboratory tests, including HIV and pregnancy tests*
- Prescriptive medication
- Allergy injections, Depo-Provera injections
- Gynecological care
- Sexually Transmitted Disease testing*
- Immunizations
- Referrals to specialists if needed
- Phone consultations with R.N.
- Free condoms
- Emergency contraception-to be used within 72 hrs of unprotected sex
* All lab tests, with the exception of pregnancy tests and throat cultures, must be done during physician hours, 7:45am - 8:45am, Monday - Friday
With the following exceptions, fees for services at the Health Center
are minimal and billed to the student account:
- Lab tests at the Health Center: An off campus lab charging
customary fees will bill either the student's health insurance, the student's
parent, or
the
student
directly. A minimal fee for lab supplies will be charged to the
student's Lawrence account.
- Medication, prescribed by the physician and not stocked at the
Health Center, will be ordered from a local pharmacy. If health insurance
is used, the co-pay will be charged to the student's Lawrence account.
If the student is not
covered
by health
insurance, the full amount will be charged to the student's account.
