Mental Health Commitee

Meeting minutes:

October 22, 2007

  1. Our meeting time will be every other Monday at 9:00 p.m. in the Plantz lounge.  This Thursday is the big Wellness Committee meeting (at 8:00 p.m.) and our next meeting will be Monday, October 29 at 9:00 p.m.
  2. Support Groups
    - support groups will be held in Margo's apartment (we will meet in the Plantz lobby first)
    -they will meet every first Wednesday of the month (first meeting is November 7 - potentially at 9:00 p.m.)
    -they will be an unstructured, student run discussion about whatever is on each person's mind (school, family,     relationships)
    -For our next meeting we are thinking about: how to advertise for the support group and what the name of it should be
  3. Programming Ideas
    -discussion/speaker on alternative views of mental health
    -for our next meeting we are thinking about more programming ideas
  4. We will map out our budget at our next meeting when we have more programming ideas
